My mother has been writing you all the time for as long as I can recall and I figured it was sure time I do it as well. Actually my time spent at college is best told by myself rather than my mother. I love her too much to allow her to know all of the happenings here at the AFHL. I’m sure she has already told you that I rented a house on campus, and that I arrived a whole semester early due to an odd coincidence that happened the day I had car troubles. So, I’ll just get on and tell you about my college experience. For the first semester I spent it mostly just doing my work, but I also used my princely influence to have other people do it for me.
I missed my family a lot during this first semester so I often prepared grilled cheese sandwiches to remind myself of home life. It was really rough, because my girlfriend, Brenda could not visit me because of her still being a minor.
I guess we kind of drifted apart during these few months, even though we emailed each other daily. I sure couldn’t wait until she arrived in the fall. Because of keeping busy with studying and doing my school work I finished the first semester with an A+ and landed on the dean’s list giving me §1,200 to add to my funds. That was great, and it made my parents very happy. Soon enough my first batch of bills arrived. When I opened them, I wasn’t sure what I’d do. They were for §908, I knew I had the money for these but there would soon be more in my mail box and I wouldn’t be able to pay them. I thought of calling my parents for some money, but what kind of man would that make me? So, I decided to start writing articles for the local paper. Oddly enough they paid the same exact amount per article I wrote. I thought that was so strange, but didn’t think much of it since I had very high skill points and thought that it was obviously meant to be.
Then it happened, after a very long first semester at university, and a long and grueling summer vacation she came. She came to live with me and it made me so happy! It was as if a day hadn’t gone by the moment she arrived. I was just so trilled. I decided immediately that this time apart was just awful so I popped the question every family oriented Sim wants to hear: Will you marry me?
She, of course said yes and it made me even happier than I was when she arrived. I wasn’t going to be with out her another day in my life, I just wouldn’t be able to bare it. We ‘consummated’ out marriage proposal that night and made it a night to remember for more than one reason. We weren’t the only ones happy in love, her
brother, Adam Jr.
Also my best friend, decided to turn our home into a Greek house, he then pledged a girl named Meadow Thayer and after a few short weeks they too were engaged. Who knew going to college would be this fun? Soon enough my freshmen year was over and the Duke’s twins were starting on their second semester being freshmen. We all did very well on final exams and each of us were granted a spot on the dean’s list.
It was now time for my little brother, Khan to join me at uni. He decided to live at the high society dormitory, along with the Barren’s twins. Little did I know that while at university studying he was becoming fast friends with these two.
Over the years it took for us to graduate from university, Medow and Adam Jr, Kubla and Bekka Barrens, as well as Adul Jr. and some other random townie were all engaged and word was sent back to the houses to plan weddings for everyone.
And that's all that has happened here at The Royal University! Check back soon to see how everyone's wedding went.
