besides, Julia Electroneers and Janis Toyars make a very cute couple! Julia is a family sim who has the same ambition of marrying off 6 children that Janis's father has. Pretty bold move on her part. I suppose they can each carry three children to make the births go by easier for them. Julia may be into families, but this doesn't make her a very nice sim, in fact when she had dear Brenda Dukes over one afternoon for a game of chess she cheated!
Oh the audacity of this girl. I suppose it makes her pretty interesting....her mother, Ina isn't a very nice sim herself, and when asked about her recent promotion at work,
she responded by flailing her arms about hollering about something or another. We did find out that she is doing pretty good working toward her goal of becoming a mad scientist, what ever they do. She even conducted an experiment on her own daughter. She asked her to knock over a garbage can to see if the sentry bot that Isal built was in proper working condition,
being there myself, I can vouch that it did indeed work. Oh the poor dear. She was fine though and went on to clean up the can.
business is well for them as well. Isal takes the time that his wife and daughter are gone at school and work to build the robots he will sell, and when they are home he switches between working the cash register and selling the items. Ina also multi tasks between sales and stocking and on occasion you can see Julia behind the register.
Isal is only three customer loyalty stars away from achieving a level three business, and has worked so hard he has obtained a gold badge in robot making. He wishes to be a celebrity chef one day, but methinks this will never be accomplished. Due largely to the fact that only one of these adults may ever have a job at a time....oh well, he seems successful in one area of his life right?
Make that very good! This reporter, Kenya Letourneau, came by one evening and gave the business a great review....she also got 2 loyalty stars and with the other one received by another sim that came in that evening the business moved up to rank three. Isal couldn't be happier. Oh, did you know that townies could have custom hair, cause I sure didn't and I've never seen this one before...but maybe this specific custom hair overwrote a maxis hair, it is in the regular hair section....I'm not sure what it overwrote because I obviously never used it.
On to other families, the Toyars have welcomed their 6th child into the world this week....
I almost feel bad for dear India. The woman stayed pregnant a good bit of her adult life, and in just a few short days will be seeing her elder years.
and with 5 girls and one boy it has got to be rough. The girls spend as much time together as they can, mostly over meals that have to be done in shifts because of how large the family is. Jasmine and Janis are much help to the family and often help with their younger siblings,
Jessica, the twins Jackie and Jabilo, and the baby Jace. This is a very crowded home. The garage was turned into a bed room for the teens, and the master bed split in two one for the baby and one for Jabilo. Then Jessica and Jackie share the extra room upstairs. The living room was transformed into a bedroom for India and Illian who don't mind the crowded living space at all. When Jasmine became a teenager, she wanted nothing more in life than to date so when she came home with Adam Jr, from the Noble class exclaiming that she was going to date him, her parents couldn't believe it. But sure enough they went on a date,
they even sung a duet together, which was really sweet. Things don't last and this was the last date these two went on. Adam Jr's parents told him that in polite society he shouldn't be seen dating a common merchant. I found this a little appealing since my prince of a son, Kubla is dating their daughter Brenda and the three of them are planning on renting a house together this fall when they go off to university. Oh well, some sims are more uptight than others.
Their toy making business is doing pretty well, they are at a level three and are planning on soon selling more than toy bricks, I hear that they will be expanding to sell jack in the boxes and kites within a week or so. They do get much help from their large family so I suppose that is a blessing for them.
Each Saturday the Toyar kids spend their day hanging out with the Hortoculture kids. They are all pretty close and love this time they spend together.
On that note, we will now move to the Hortoculture family.
Officer Demi apprehended their burgular. It was a close call, but the family was rewarded with §500. They were afraid at first, but quickly got over it. Their business is doing alright, not as well as the other two, but they are making a bit of profit. They work it every day while the children are in school, and have recently made it to a level two on the ranking charts.
I suppose much of the credit is due in part to the fact that Ian has mastered the flower aranging and is now able to make these wonderous snap draggon arrangments that make everyone feel as if they are in a state of bliss. They really have wonderous effects on the people. I so do wish they would make more of these to put for sale, but I guess I can't demand they do everything my way can I? All in all things are very good for this part of my kingdom. And if this class of citizens are happy, they make me look good.
