I rented 5 poor families a small plot of land at the west quadrant of the town, and gave them each an assignment to fulfill before they had to pass on. I gave them the opportunity to win §10,000 for their children to start off their lives with on their own plot of land if they did accomplish their goal.
There was only one family to actually fulfill their goal, and I guess it was the easiest goal to do, so maybe I sorta cheated a bit, but this was my favorite family...in fact, I'd at times, go and sit with them so Mr. Beggars could fill me in on the happenings of the peasantcommunity.
He would stand and speak to me, as customary to do because I was royaltyand there were no seats available besides a dinky sofa. I felt really bad for the man, not only because he was poor but also because he was so humble about it. He didn't mind, he always told me, "The finer things of life can't be bought with money". I guess the man was right. But I trulywouldn't know as I had so much. His family goal was for his wife, Rene, to become a werewolf and then a vampire. Knowing there were so little vampires around this should have been difficult for the woman, and because I've had the leader of the wolf pack at my home quite a few times and never succeeded in getting the dog to play fetch with me much less anything else I figured that the chances of her being bit by him were slim to none, but they took their duty in strive and did a good job of it....
The night the woman was bitten she was visited by two pack leaders, I didn't even know this was possible, but I guess maybe she was actually destined to become this werewolf I so desperately wanted her to be. Oh my, here I am going on and on about the goal I gave the family and I haven't even mentioned the children they had along the way....boy I can be so rude at times.
They have 2 children, Tab the boy pictured above and Taariq:
both children must be teenagers by now as they were the same age as my son now is. So moving along, Rene met a vampire while going out one evening and invited him over to hang out in her forest
Being a werewolf gave her the ability to stay up many many hours before going to sleep so after doing this for a few nights, Count Whatchacallit (I can't be expected to remember the names of Sims who don't live in my kingdom should I???) Did what she set out for him to do:
He put her in a trance and bit her.....she then completed her task and was now able to not only have the §10,000 for her children to start their lives with, saving their daughter from a life in the convent or their son from a life in the sweat shop but also allowing themselves to build two additional rooms to their small house. They were now of working class Sims and could afford such luxuries as a private bedroom for themselves....and not so crowded ones for their children. They opted to just build the one extra room as they only had two children thus only needing three bedrooms. I must remember to assign this family a much harder task for the next generation...
Richard also told me of his neighboors, the Brokes.<br>They were given the assignment of being abducted by aliens and having one alien child. They did not complete this although they were given the menes to do so. I guess you could never expect a wealth and a romance sim to accomplish such a great task.
Renold Brokes was very sad, according to Richard. He tells me that being poor brought Renold into a deep pit of dispare. Any time the man was home he would sit in bed and do nothing, when there was time, the man would try to complete his assignment but because he was so poor it was hard for him to get the motivation to do so.
Richard tells me his wife, on the other hand was wishey washey. She always wanted the woohoo, and because of their lack of menes to afford proper birthcontrol, each woohoo she ended up with child which is not what she wanted at all.
They had 4 children:
Rieen, who aspires for all things fun,
Reanna, who aspires to have many many firends. Thressa who is still just a child and finally
Thressa's twin sister, Tulusa. She is quite a sleepy child.
Richard tells me there isn't much to say about this family except of the first visit from the social bunny, this is not a good thing for these people and is said that if one gets a visit from the bunny that Sim will live a very short and unsuccessful life. This could be the cause of poor Renold's depression although I think the visit was to ReRe and not Renold.</span>
This family also discovered something I did not ever know, that you can hold your infant while practicing a speach. This is news I will share with all of my friends and family.
Richard didn't have to tell me about their neighboors the Scammers. I've met this family myself and not under the nicest of conditions. For some reason the little punks wouldn't quit spying on me, I had to show them I ment business myself by going over there and knocking them around a bit.
Oh my I'm sorry about that little out burst, but if you only understood how demanding it is to be queen and to be spied on constantly. Oh gosh!
Any how....
These were sims very much in love so I thought I'd give them a rather simple task, or at least I thought it was simple! I asked them to give me ten pesant babies....they only got to five. Although, it wasn't from lack of trying or at least that is what I hear. Their five children are as follows:
Tasheed another one of those money hungry pesants. Oh boy is he going to have a miserable life,
Terriance, he is more into the brain....he loves to read and think. This is good I suppose. They have a kid sister;
Her name is Tara. Poor thing has a mouth of a horse...ooo did I say that. My bad. Moving along,
The sweet tot, Tilsey. Boy they are just so cute when they are like this aren't they?
and last but certianly not least as this one is the one that will have to get this families goal done and over with, Tuck. Let's just hope Tuck grows up to want nothing more in life but lots of babies, or he marries another pesant who wants that. But I guess for her it won't be so bad as it will be helping her escape the eternal convent.
Oh boy where to next? Lets see we've done the Beggars, the Brokes, the Scammers....oh yes, the Loosers- they live across the street from the Brokes, which is adjacent to the Beggars. This families goal was for Ranus, the family man, and the well, the man of the house to be the only one who was ever told what to do, essentially he had to "live with idiots" he had to live like this until he reached his life time want to have a golden anniversary. I suppose I lied to you earlier when I said only one family completed their goal because this family still has time to do so. So I suppose their one and only child will get the §10,000 all they have to do is last one more week in marital bliss and celibrate with a nice party....can they do it?
Well, I sure do have my doubts....nosey little povety ridden imbesuls....
So here I was minding my own dern business when this boy, Tiblt was caught spying on me....oh I showed him a lesson or two. "boy," I said, "you'd better learn your P's and Q's or I'll erase you!" yeah, thats what I said. I guess it was a bit harsh but jeez by this time I was so sick and tired of being spied on by all these little people!
His parents, Ranus and Raven just stayed inside eating their pesant food and ignored my presents....I guess they decided that their child was doing wrong and needed to be punnished. That same day, as luck would have it....
A fire broke out. Well, that sure will show them to mess with me now won't it? Richard tells me that they told him they don't want to mess with me any more. After the fire I presented all of the pesant families with a new stove....one that would be more fitting for them.
I thought it was a pretty neat thing as it doubles as a garbage disposal. *Please see the blog entry entitled CC for links to download this neat little contraption* this now brings us to the last pesant family, the Serfs. Why? You say. Because this stove here is being modled by Reana Serfs....and I've run out of things to say about their neighboors...
It doesn't apear there is any really good news on the Serfs either. Their goal was to have 50 dream dates, and although they still have some time, as they get until they die to do this, we don't think it will be happening because they have only accomplished 7 of these. I guess being poor doesn't allow you time for much.
But dear Ronald and Reana serf did manage to have a couple of children along the way.
Their youngest, who still a boy has an awful choice, Tison. And then this brings us to our last pesant
Tasha. She is a family sim, so maybe she'll marry Tuck and they can have all those children. But that will make it so hard as she is much older than little tuck.
Well, good readers....I am going to report later on my merchant class I will have to stop by each of their houses, as I or my husband are on friendly terms with them. Until then...have a safe and pleasent evening.
