and it is pretty sad really because Henry, the Barren's dog died of old age this past week. Let us take a moment to mourn the loss of dear Henry.
it was a really sad day for everyone in the neighbor hood because this was the first pet to die on us. The Barrens are coping fine. Before the loss of their dog, their home business of absolutely nothing but sims paying to be on their lot, got up to a level nine. Its amazing what Sims will enjoy really. I suppose a lot of it has to do with Anna's philandering ways.
I don't know how she manages to wohoo all of these sims with her husband home most of the time. He only works three days a week now because he got the promotion he always wanted. He can now be seen on the Yummy Channel three times a week staring in "Cooking with Adul". He also owns a chain of restaurants all over the nation, although I've never seen one in these parts.
He was quite pleased with himself. She is also quite pleased with herself, achieving her ambition to wohoo 20 different Sims. The children both hate her, which is odd....they've seen her sleeping around, but her husband hasn't noticed. Poor guy. Her next goal is to become a professional party guest, but with just days away from her old age celebration we are doubting she'll attain this goal. Hey, it does get her out of her bed though, right? They recently decided to start giving makeovers to random townies, for free mostly and apparently the couple has some sort of talent for it.
Because they've been getting rave reviews over it.
She's often used it as an excuse for why there were men in her bedroom, the females Adul doesn't even question......which is really funny because most of her accomplishments have been women. Oh well. Their children grew up nicely,
Bekka grew into her looks and is taking after her mother's foot steps in the romance department. She has the ambition to be a Hall of Famer, her brother has the same ambition, but also lusts for money and all things associated with it.
They both got after school jobs in the athletic industry. Bekka got a promotion her first day, and Adul Jr, still hasn't gotten one but hopes to get one with in the next few days. They will do this until they go to university in the fall of next year. They will be saving the money they earn to rent a house. Which is good for them, children need to learn the value of a simolean.
The Barrens throw dinner parties each week for the noble and royal class. They seem to be nice, Adul cooks one of his famous dishes for us and we all sit around chatting about the events of the week. Its really a nice way to spend time with my people. And its really the only time the Dukes and the Barrens seem to get together. Besides, the few times Adle seems to be spying on Anna's dates.
Its not that they don't enjoy each other's company, they just all have a lot going on in their lives.
Adle has reached the top of the criminal career, and is now working on making it to the top of the Science career, while
Adam writes novels and works on his second life time want of becoming chief of staff at the local hospital, has already became a hall of famer, he writes his novels about his time in the athletic industry. He's sold two already and is currently working on the third one. Brenda and Adam Jr are busy being teens.
Both of them have snuck out of the house.....wait....is that my son! No, it couldn't possibly be MY son, he would never sneak out of the house, besides that is an awful jalopy. Oh boy am I going to get him this evening when he gets home from school....oh sorry, where was I? Oh yeah.
While Adam Jr seems to have mastered the art of sneaking out....
his poor sister was caught by the local authorities.
the two of them are best buds, and practically do everything together.
Except, of course, the most important thing to a teenager....
Brenda and Kubla shared their first ever kisses together. Awww isn't that just so sweet. I hope it doesn't go any further than that ever, but knowing it will, I will just pray that it doesn't happen until after marriage. Adam Jr, prefers talking on the phone....
and can be seen doing this all day long. Its a little sad, the kid wants nothing more in his life than to have 20 best friends. How can one share their inner most thoughts with 20 different sims? That sounds like trouble to me. But, I guess thats why I don't make everyone's decisions for them, right? All in all life is good for both the Barrens and the Dukes. I'm really looking forward to what the kids will accomplish in their future.
